02 September 2014 [09:12] - TODAY.AZ
Permanent Representative of Slovakia to the Council of Europe (CoE), Chair of the Rapporteur Group on Human Rights (GR-H), Drahoslav Stefanek expressed satisfaction with the religious situation in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan guarantees freedom of religion for all citizens of the country, Stefanek told Trend Sept. 1.

He said Azerbaijan guarantees freedom of belief to the representatives of all religions.

Stefanek also praised Baku's hosting the CoE meeting on the religious dimension of intercultural dialogue - "Intercultural dialogue: interaction between culture and religion".

"Today's event will make an important contribution to the development of dialogue between different religions. It is attended by representatives of many religions and religious communities. This is a great opportunity to discuss the long-term cooperation between the representatives of various religions," Stefanek said.
