K-pop contest held in Azerbaijan

On May 20, the K-pop contest in Azerbaijan, the regional preliminary of the K-pop World Festival 2014 organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, was held in Baku State University.

In the K-pop contest, fourteen contestants competed on the stage in front of the room full of the audience in the auditorium of the Baku State University, the embassy told Trend on May 22.

The winner of the contest won the Samsung Galaxy Tab and has a chance to visit Korea for K-pop World Festival 2014 in October after the internet poll and professional screening.

Through music, the K-pop contest provided a good opportunity for the Korean and Azerbaijani people to understand each other even further.
