Earthquake occured in Azerbaijan

An earthquake has jolted the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

The earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale hit the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea on Monday, May 19, at 12:43 local time.

Website of the Republican Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS) said that the earthquake took place 14 kilometers to the north from the Nardaran settlement of Baku, at a depth of two kilometers.
