Daylight saving time begins in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan to switch to summer time at night from March 29 to 30, i.e clocks will be turned forward an hour.

State committee on standardization, meteorology and patents of Azerbaijan reported on Saturday, Trend informs.

Pursuant to the March 17, 1997 dated "On the switch to summer and winter times in Azerbaijani territory" decision by the Cabinet of Ministers, clocks are moved forward an hour on the last Sunday of March to switch to summer time, while clocks are turned back an hour on the last Sunday of October to welcome the winter time.

State committee on standardization, meteorology and patents of Azerbaijan stands for control on the execution of that decision.
