What weather to expect on days of Novruz holiday?

The preliminary outlook of the weather on the days of Novruz holiday has been released.

Rise of temperature is forecasted until March 17.  Intermittently intensifying southern wind will dominate. It will strengthen on March 16 and 17 noon.

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reported on the matter.

Intensification of the northern wind is expected on March 17, from the night to March 18 and March 18 morning. Thus, the temperature in the country territory will temporarily fall.

+10-12 C temperature is predicted along with volatile cloudiness in Baku and Absheron peninsula in the afternoon on March 18. Northern wind will concede to infrequently strengthening southern wind in the second half of the day.

On Wednesday, March 19, the temperature will again go high in the country territory. Velocity of the northern wind will up at night and in the morning on March 19.

According to the preliminary forecast, mild weather is expected across the country until March 23.
