Spring, a wonderful season, comes along and nature awakens from its winter sleep. Days become longer and nights become shorter, and ground is covered with fresh green grass and the first spring flowers. The white snowdrops, first flowers of the spring appear, and new leaves and flower buds grow on tree branches. Nature wakes up from a long winter sleep and begins a new life.

March, spring's first month is just around the corner, and we all feel the awakening of nature, even though it is not so warm at the streets of Azerbaijan's capital. People can not wait to get rid of their heavy winter coats and warm caps and wear something light to fully enjoy the spring breeze, which hopefully will not take long to come.

This season of the year, loved by many, will bring much joy because Azerbaijanis celebrate the festive Novruz Bayram in March. Good weather will be a perfect gift for all Azerbaijanis have who survived an incredibly cold February.

Thus, the National Hydrometeorology Department predicted that the weather in March will be relatively warmer and more stable than February.

The average temperature in Baku and the Absheron peninsula will be 7-9 degrees above zero, which is slightly higher than the climatic norm. Monthly precipitation in the region is expected to be close to the norm (20-27 mm).

The situation in other Azerbaijani regions is slightly different. Azerbaijan's coldest districts will be Khankandi, Shusha, Khojali, Lachin, and Zangilan of the Upper Karabakh region. Their average temperature will be 2-5 degrees above zero.

Temperature is expected to be 2-7 degrees above zero at night. In highlands, the weather is colder; 1 - 6 degrees below zero. Monthly precipitation in the region is expected to be close to the norm (42-52 mm).

In Azerbaijan's Sheki, Oguz, Shamakha, Gazakh, Ganja, Goranboy, Khizi, Guba, Gusar, and Khachmaz the average temperature will be 3 - 6 degrees above zero, which is also close to the climatic norm, while at night the degree is expected to be 3-8 degrees above zero.

Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Goychay, Agdash, Kurdamir, Imishli, Agjabadi, Beylagan, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Saatli, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Salyan, and Neftchala would be relatively warm. Thus, March will be warm here; the average temperature will be 7-9 degrees above zero. The same goes for Azerbaijan's capital. Monthly precipitation in the region is expected to be close to the norm (24-45 mm).

The country's Masalli, Yardimli, Lerik, and Astara won't be cold; average temperature will be 6-8 degrees above zero and monthly precipitation in the region will amount to 56-112 mm. Average temperature in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will be 5-7 degrees above zero.

We wish all our readers to meet the spring in great shape, and have amazing March holidays!
