WB willing to back social security reforms in Azerbaijan

Education Sector Manager for Europe and Central Asia at the World Bank Alberto Rodriguez has expressed the WB`s readiness to support security reforms in Azerbaijan as he met the country`s Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Salim Muslumov.

He said the WB was keen to continue cooperation with Azerbaijan.

Rodriguez praised Azerbaijan`s socio-economic development.

Muslumov hailed cooperation between the organization and the country. The Minister stressed the World Bank`s role assistance to labour and social security reforms in the country. According to Minister, the project contributed to improving the social security system in the country.

They exchanged views on future cooperation, implementation of a new project on improvement of social services and labour force.
