Amount of funds gathered by Azerbaijani Armed Forces Assistance Fund declared

The amount of funds accumulated in the account of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Assistance Fund has reached 39.017 million manat, according to the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.

According to the report, as of April 1, 2013, the fund has accumulated 39,017,597 manat, 205,791 dollars and 593 euros.

The fund was established in 2002 in accordance with the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan. It is financed through voluntary donations of individuals and legal entities operating in Azerbaijan, including through other investments not prohibited by the law.
