According to the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), Azerbaijani businessmen have been invited to participate in construction of Technopolis Novaya Tura infrastructure in Tatarstan, Russia.
The project is the first Russian technopolis built with funds provided by private investors and with state support. A land plot of 250 hectares in the Zelenodolsk municipal region has been chosen to implement it.

With time, a shopping and service technopolis is planned to be built here that will provide production, storage and shopping facilities, as well as the complete set of services and professional management, to potential tenants.
Manufacturers with close business lines are planned to be gathered on the site and a training centre based on Kazan branch of Russian State Trade and Economics University and Institute of Economics, Management and Law to be set up. Besides, a hotel infrastructure will be built.
The project’s investors, Brack Capital Real Estate Russia and FGN Capital investment fund, assume an obligation to invest about 5 billion roubles in the project’s phase one.
