Azerbaijan sends more than 30 inmates to Iran

Azerbaijan has conveyed 33 prisoners to Iran on Friday, press service of the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend.

Soon Iran will also convey some prisoners, citizens of Azerbaijan, said in the embassy.

About 200 citizens of Iran were kept in facilities of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan, Deputy Minister of Justice, the head of the Penitentiary Service, lieutenant-general Madat Guliyev said at meeting with Iranian Ambassador in Azerbaijan Mohsen Pakayeen.

Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the conditions of keeping of Iranian citizens in prisons of Azerbaijan and the conditions for the regular meetings with the staff of embassy.
