Azerbaijan, Ukraine migration authorities eye co-op

Ukraine`s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko has met head of the State Migration Service Firudin Nabiyev to discuss cooperation between the two countries` migration authorities.
Nabiyev spoke of the history of the State Migration Service.

He highlighted reforms in the country`s migration services sector, particularly the newly-established ASAN (Azerbaijan Service and Assessment Network) system.
Ambassador Mishchenko said he was aware of the achievements of the Azerbaijan State Migration

Service, adding it is important to use the service`s experience.
Mishchenko and Nabiyev exchanged views on the issuing of identifying documents for non-residents, and ways of preventing illegal migration.
