Baku to host Euronest PA meeting

Energy Security Committee of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly will convene Tuesday in Azerbaijan`s capital.

According to co-chair of the committee, MP Fuad Muradov, the two-day conference will hear a report entitled “Energy market security and coordination between Eastern European Partnership countries and the European Union countries”.

“The report was made by member of the European Parliament for the Netherlands and Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Gerben-Jan Gerbrandy and member of Georgian Parliament David Onoprishvili,” Fuad Muradov said.

The meeting, to be attended by European parliamentarians and energy security experts, will also feature discussions on Azerbaijan`s energy policy, and the country`s role in energy security of Europe.
