According to the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources currently water richness holds 80-200% of decade norm in Quba-Khachmaz region of Major Caucasus, 80-150% in Minor Caucasus rivers, 20-50% in Lenkaran Astara region rivers, while 75-80% in the rivers of Nakhichevan AR.
On September 24, 8cm increase of water level was issued in Giragkesemen settlement of Kura river. Currently water consumption holds 83m3/sec in the settlement, i.e 60% of decade norm (in 2011, 122m3/sec, i.e 88% of decade norm).
On September 24, no chenge of water level has been observed in Ayrichay settlement of Qanikh river. At present water consumption holds 94m3/sec, i.e 98% of decade norm. (in 2011, 85m3/sec, i.e 88% of decade norm).
Currently water level holds 374cm (on September 24, 2011, 421cm) in Surra settlement, 259cm (on September 24, 2011, 316cm ) in Shirvan, 239cm (on September 24, 2011, 333cm) in Salyan, 239cm (on September 24, 2011, 249cm) in Banka, while 120cm (on September 24, 2011, 165cm) in Novruzlu settlement of Aras river. /eco.gov.az/
