Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kemaleddin Heydarov visited Azerbaijan’s quake-hit north-west region. The minister arrived in Zagatala this morning. Heydarov inspected the reconstruction works in quake affected school #2 in the region.
Then the minister visited Gozbarkh village and became familiar with the construction of quake affected private houses and secondary school.
The Emergency Minister also visited Gulluk village of Gakh region and became familiar with the work carried out there and gave relevant instructions.
Two strong quakes occurred in Zagatala on May 7. More than 3000 constructions were destroyed and fell out. AZN 20 mln were allocated from the state budget for eliminating the consequences of the quake.
