Two people detained over today's tragic road accident

Two people are detained in the frame of the criminal case filed on the train and a passenger bus collision occurred in Azerbaijan on Friday and led to casualties, the Prosecutor General of the Republic said.

As noted in the report Ismailov Ayyub, who was on duty at the crossing and Daewoo bus driver Agayev Farid were detained.

Six people died and others suffered hard injuries as a result of the accident which took place 07:25 local time in Garadakh district of the Azerbaijan’s capital (24 km of Baku), the police said.
The train was traveling from Agstafa (380 km North West of Baku) to Baku when the accident took place. Overall, 53 people have been injured as a result of the accident.
