Azercell's new president appointed

Chiril Gaburici appointed new president of Azerbaijani mobile operator -Azercell.

He replaced Ali Agan on this position, who led the company since 2008.

Azercell Telecom was established in January 1996 as the first GSM operator in Azerbaijan and began its commercial activity after December 15, 1996.

Currently, Azercell has more than 4,000 000 subscribers with 99.8 percent coverage of the population, 80 percent of area coverage (excluding 20 percent of the occupied territories) and with 55 percent market share of mobile communications.
