Azerbaijan joins int'l conference on neuroscience

Afig Gaziyev, head of laboratory of physiology of ontogenesis of the Institute of Physiology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), PhD in Biology Afig Gaziyev attended in the 8th international interdisciplinary congress entitled “Neuroscience for Medicine and Psychology” in Crimean town Sudak, Ukraine. Afig Gaziyev chaired ontogenesis of nervous system section and made a report in a nine-day congress said.

The event brought together more than 300 experts from Poland, Israel, Sweden, US, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia and other countries. The VIII International interdisciplinary congress “Neuroscience for Medicine and Psychology” was devoted to the progress in basic sciences contributing to the human health.
