Aftershocks slow in Zagatala

“The number of quakes in Zagatala region decreased in comparison with last days. Despite it, the tension still continues in the quake focus,” director general of the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Gurban Yetirmishli told APA.

According to him, 10 weak aftershocks occurred in Zagatala region over last day. Totally, 1000 quakes below 1-magnitude and 500 quakes above 1-magnitude occurred in Zagatala region from May 7 up to now.
