Over 45 foreigners detained in Azerbaijan

The State Migration Service of Azerbaijan takes regular measures for strengthening the state’s control over the migration processes and the prevention of illegal migration.

On May 22-23, the service officials inspected the situation in Mingachevir, Goychay, Ismayilli and Barda regions and identified 47 foreign citizens illegally living in the country and engaging in illegal street trade or unauthorized labor activity. Relative decisions within the administrative legislation were passed about them.

The State Migration Service is continuing intensive measures for the prevention of illegal migration in the capital city and the regions.
