
The directories of stations on the Baku metro platforms will be replaced with electronic scoreboards, Baku Metro spokesman Nazaket Tanriverdiyeva said.
“The works on replacement of the directories with modern electronic scoreboards were already completed in some stations. These innovations are aimed at creating maximum comfort for passengers,” she said.
Baku Metro has been operating since 1967 and has 23 stations. Based on the Baku Metro Development Plan, the number of subway lines will be increased to 5, number of stations - 76 and total length of routes -119 km in 2030.
