New park to appear in the city center

A new park will be laid on the Azadlig Avenue in the Nasimi district, Head of the the Nasimi District housing and communal services department Eldar Heyrullayev said.

He said the work is underway to construct the park. " All necessary conditions will be created in the park so that residents were able to have a rest and enjoy the time spent here . A monument to the famous foreign physicist will also be erected here,” he said..
 
Moreover, the work is underway to upgrade the facades of nearby apartment buildings. The park will be completed in May, prior to the beginning of the Eurovision Song Contest, he noted.

Day.Az was able to find out that a a memorial complex to be erected in the park will be devoted to the Serbian scientist, physicist, engineer, Nikola Tesla.
