Azerbaijan starts issuing granting simplified visas to Eurovision guests

Azerbaijan has started giving simplified visas to foreigners who want to participate in the Eurovision 2012 song contest. The foreigners can get the visas from structures of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs` Consular department operating in international airports in Azerbaijan.

The basis for getting visa is the invitation letter by Organizing Committee of Eurovision, document affirming the accreditation in accordance with the European Broadcasting Union`s rules or ticket for Eurovision 2012.

For the foreigners visiting Azerbaijan based on official invitation of the Organizing Committee, participants of the contest and members of the delegation accredited in accordance with the European Broadcasting Union`s rules the visas will be given from April 15 to June 1, 2012. For journalists and fun-club members accredited in accordance with the rules of the European Broadcasting Union, including persons with tickets the visas will be granted from May 10 to June 1, 2012.
