Azerbaijan, Ukraine mull coop

Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade met with the visiting Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov. Premier Rasizade noted that there is good potential for wider cooperation between the two countries and highly estimated current visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Azerbaijan.

Rasizade highlighted the economic accomplishments the country achieved in the last decade, the oil-gas and transport projects. Premier of Azerbaijan highly assessed the activity of Diasporas in development of bilateral relations and partnership projects.

Ukrainian Premier stressed the latest economic success of Azerbaijan under President Ilham Aliyev, suggested to convene inter-governmental commission’s next meeting to discuss cooperation issues. Ukraine is keen in cooperation with Azerbaijan in energy, machine-building industry, agriculture, military technique, humanitarian, tourism spheres.
