Ateshgah temple in Baku to be reconstructed

The exposition of the State Architectural Reserve "Temple of Fire Worshippers"(Ateshgah) will be completely changed, Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister Vagif Aliyev told Trend. The temple will meet modern standards after reconstruction, he said.

"The exhibition will be changed here and activities will be held in electronic form," the deputy minister said. According to Aliyev, this monument hasn't been restored for many years. The area around the "Temple of Fire Worshippers" will be improved and expanded after the repairs, which will begin in a few days.

Many houses were built around the temple, Aliyev said. Most of them is demolished at the moment. The restoration of the reserve will be implemented at the expense of the state budget in May.
