
The Heydar Aliyev International Airport receives and sends flight in accordance with the planned schedule. Although earlier the airport faced problems due to adverse weather conditions, now the flights’ arrival and departure is now normal.
*****03.02.1216.05The Heydar Aliyev International Airport is gradually adjusting the flight control of arrivals and departures after delays and cancellations of dozens of flights, the airport told Trend.
Baku-London, Baku, Istanbul, Baku-Nakhchivan, Baku-Dubai and Baku-Moscow flights are currently being planned, the airport said.
Flight plans for the Baku-Almaty, Baku-Istanbul and Baku-Dubai routes are all completed.
Kiev-Baku, St. Petersburg-Baku, Almaty-Baku, Istanbul-Baku, Dubai-Baku flights arrived Baku today, the airport said.
Frosty weather will continue in Baku until February 5, the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Ministry told Trend.
*****10:53The Heydar Aliyev International Airport is open for the reception of all aircrafts, spokesman for Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) Maharram Safarli told Trend.
He said the airport is open for all aircrafts, especially for transit ones, from 10:00 am local time. Yesterday’s flights from Baku to Moscow, Istanbul and Dubai will be soon performed. The rest of the canceled flights will be implemented gradually and as far as possible.
He said the flights en route Baku-Paris and Baku Milan, which were supposed to be performed today, will be sent on Feb.5-6.
