Azerbaijan joins int'l seminar on corruption

Employees of the Department to Combat Corruption under Azerbaijan`s General Prosecutor`s Office attended a seminar on training programs on investigation of corruption cases in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The seminar was held as part of the project realized for GUAM states by Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia programme (ACN) of Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Azerbaijani representatives made reports on country`s experience on training methodologies, spoke of training innovations and examination information system.

ACN is a regional anti-corruption programme which covers the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Established in 1998, the main objective of the ACN is to support its participating countries in their fight against corruption by providing a regional forum for the promotion of anti-corruption activities, exchange of information, elaboration of best practices and donor coordination.
