False jewellery found in Baku

The State Supervision Service on Precious Stones and Metals under Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan keeps on measures on state assay supervision. The Ministry reports that 3.515 false jewellery units were revealed in the course of state assay inspection in Sofulu Trade Center ( Baku, Nasimi district, 3005, Javadkhan street) owned by "Chichek" co-operative store.

They lacked state alloy, the information announced on the weight and content of precious metals did not conform reality and the jewellery itself was made from metals of no value.  The Ministry called upon the customers to be cautious when purchasing jewellery to avoid financial losses.
