Cloudy weather forecated in Baku

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported that the weather is predicted to be changeable cloudy, mostly rainless in the afternoon, drizzly in Baku and some parts of Absheron peninsula in the morning and evening on Jan.6. Temperate south-western wind will blow.

The temperature is expected to be +2-4˚C at night, +6-11˚C in the afternoon. The weather will be mainly rainless in the country’s regions. Fog will be in some places at night and in the morning. Western wind will blow on. The temperature is forecast to be -2˚C to +3˚C at night, +5-10˚C at noon, -5-10˚C in the mountains at night, and +1-6˚C at midday.

The minimum temperature in the high mountainous areas is expected to be -10-15˚C. On January 6, intermittently strengthening Gilavar wind (warm southern wind) accompanied with the diminution of atmospheric pressure in Absheron peninsula may create discomfort on some meteorologically vulnerable people. On January 7-8, weak and mild oscillation of meteorological determinants is considered suitable for meteorologically sensitive people.
