Statistics of tragic traffic accidents in Azerbaijan

Sixty eight traffic accidents occurred during the holiday killed  31 and injured 85 people in Azerbaijan. The most of the fatal traffic accidents were recorded in the country’s regions and on major highway, Azerbaijani Interior Ministry’s Central State Traffic Police Department spokesman Kamran Aliyev reported.
 
He said there were recorded 18 accidents on Dec.31, which killed nine and injured 23 people, 9 accidents killing six  and wounding 11 - on Jan.1 and 15 accidents, killing five and wounding 22 people – on Jan.2.  Fifteen accidents killed three and injured 19 people, on Jan.4 and 11 accidents - eight and 10 people, respectively on Jan.4.
