Suicide attempt in Baku’s National Seaside Park

A young man attempted to commit suicide jumping from the Parachute Tower in the National Seaside Park of Baku. He climbed half-way and cried that he would kill himself jumping from there. Rescuers of the Emergency Situations Ministry arrived at site.

The young people gathered in the Seaside Park, as well as relatives tried to talk him pasting posters in the windows of the nearby Baku Business Center. A psychologist also climbed to the Parachute Tower and tried to talk him. After the conversation with the psychologist, the young man went below. The suicide was prevented.
