Horrible "holiday" accidents recorded in Azerbaijan

The traffic accidents killed 20 people and wounded 56 in Azerbaijan during the holiday. The most of the fatal traffic accidents were recorded in the country’s regions and on major highway, Azerbaijani Interior Ministry’s Central State Traffic Police Department spokesman Kamran Aliyev reported.

He said there were recorded 18 accidents on Dec.31, which killed nine and injured 23 people, 9 accidents killing six  and wounding 11 - on Jan.1 and 15 accidents, killing five and wounding 22 people – on Jan.2. During the holidays, the traffic accidents were recorded in Hajigabul, Oguz and on the Baku-Shamakhi road. Traffic Police urges drivers to observe traffic rules.
