Georgia hopes France will consider Georgia's negative attitude to the issue of possible selling helicopter-carrier Mistral to Russia, said Nino Kalandadze, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia at the traditional briefing, commenting the visit of President Medvedev to France.
"Georgia repeatedly stated at all levels of its apprehensions in regard to selling military ship to Russia. We don't lose hope that France will consider our arguments and change its attitude to the issue of selling Mistral," Kalandadze said.
"According to our information, the topic of selling Mistral won't be the issue of discussion in the political level in the course of the visit," Kalandadze said.
