Parliament speaker advanced to premier post in Armenia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan proposed parliament speaker Ovik Abramyan as prime minister and Armenia's ruling party approved the nomination, Armenia's Vice-speaker Eduard Sharmazanov said on Sunday, RIA Novosti reported.

"Abramyan's candidacy has been approved today at the ad-hoc meeting of executive committee and council of Armenia's Republican Party ", - Sharmazanov said.
