Georgian Defence Minister to meet his Armenian counterpart

Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Alasania will pay his first visit to Armenia on March 7. As the Georgian Defence Ministry said, during the visit to Alasania he will meet with Armenian Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan.

His is also scheduled to meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

During the visit, issues of military cooperation will be discussed between the defence ministries of the two countries. It is related to aspects of military training, as well as reforms in the defence sphere.

The sides also discussed cooperation in defence for 2013.
