’No foreigners in politics in Azerbaijan’

Citizen and Development Party (CDP) Chairman Ali Aliyev voiced his attitude to the establishment of political parties by foreign citizens in Azerbaijan. He said he agrees with the country’s leadership regarding the unacceptability of foreign citizens’ engaging in the political activities in Azerbaijan, the Sherq qezeti reported.

He said the discussions on coordinating the activities of the Azerbaijan Liberal Party and the Party of Classic Popular Front are underway at the level of working groups. "One of my deputies is in charge of this issue,” he said. “I will be informed about the state of affairs by the end of this or next week."
