Azerbaijan, U.S. discuss strategic partner relationship

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met yesterday commander of the U.S. Transportation Command, William Fraser. The talks focused on Azerbaijan-U.S. strategic partner relationship, bilateral cooperation in various spheres as well as Azerbaijan`s contribution to peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan. Mammadyarov said establishment of peace and stability in Afghanistan was important for Azerbaijan. The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
