Green Technology Week kicks off in Baku

Green Technology Week dedicated to the memory of national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev has today kicked off here. The event is organized by World Youth Bank Network (WYBN) regional office with the support of Azerbaijan`s ministries of Communications and Information Technologies, and Youth and Sports as well as National Council of Youth Organizations.

Speaking on the project, head of the WYBN regional office Vusala Huseynli pointed out series of events will be held as part of the Week, adding the aim of the project is to draw youngsters` attention into the relevant sphere.

A meeting with the Nobel Prize winner scientist Ada Yonath was held as part of the event. She wished every success to the conference which will be organized as part of the Green Technology Week and underscored importance of the project.
