06 December 2011 [19:00] - TODAY.AZ
Member of the Azerbaijan Milli Majlis, Ganira Pashayeva told Turkish media that her country would never reconcile itself with the occupation of its territories. Pashayeva noted Armenia was continuing to occupy 20 percent of the territories of Azerbaijan. She said Azerbaijan`s political, economic and military power had increased over the past years, adding military budget of the country exceeds Armenia`s general budget.

Pashayeva pointed out sooner or later Azerbaijan would return its territories occupied by Armenia. She said her country had changed a lot since early 1990`s. The MP noted Azerbaijan would resort to military way to liberate its territories if peace talks yield no results.

The Azerbaijani MP said the international community including OSCE Minsk Group must demand official Yerevan to fulfill the documents adopted by the UN Security Council and other international organizations. “Armenia destructed religious, historical and cultural monuments and cemeteries in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.” Pashayeva also said president Serge Sargsyan`s statement about Agridag proves that official Yerevan was still pursuing aggressive policy.
