“CIS: partnership in innovations” event to run in Baku

A road-show called “CIS: partnership in innovations” will be held in Azerbaijan`s capital on December 7-8, the CIS Information Council said.The co-organizers of the event are the CIS International Innovation Center for Nanotechnology, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and Baku State University (BSU).

The operator of the road-show supported by the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation is Insiders Communication group.The road-show will be attended by representatives of the CIS International Innovation Center for Nanotechnology, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Rossotrudnichestvo, Russian Venture Company OJSC, Open University Skolkovo, Dubno nanocenter, Salans Law Firm, Insiders Communication Group, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), teachers and students of Azerbaijan`s higher schools, experts of innovations companies, scientific centers and Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin.

Participants will discuss sh aring of practical experience, possibilities of open dialogues between reps of leading innovative companies and Commonwealth countries` scientific centers, aiming at search of perspective partners and achievement of preliminary agreements on cooperation.

The event, to take place at the campus of Baku State University, features plenary meetings as well as some education seminars directed for participants` qualification raising in innovation and nano-technologies area, venture financing, intellectual property market and interstate programs in CIS.
