Azeri delegation to attend UN event

The Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Refugee Committee Ali Hasanov will participate in the intergovernmental event of United Nations in December 7-8 in Geneva.

The Intergovernmental event at the ministerial level of Member States of the United Nations is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the 1951 Convention related to the Status of Refugees and the 50th anniversary of the 1961 Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness. According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Azeri delegation will take part in the event on the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and IDPs Antonio Guterres `s invitation.
