‘Serbia and Azerbaijan relations will reach level of strategic partnership’

The Azerbaijan and Serbia relations will move to the level of strategic partnership in the coming years, Serbian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zoran Vayovich. "The relations between the two countries are developing day by day, and we hope that soon they will reach the level of strategic partnership,” he said.  Vayovich said there were identified a number of projects on investing in the infrastructure of Serbia and construction of roads, and Azerbaijani companies show interest in participating in these projects.
 

Implementation of joint economic projects will significantly increase the level of trade between countries. The trade turnover in 2011 is less than $ 10 million, which of course does not suit both parties, the diplomat said. He said business circles of both countries show great interest in developing cooperation. This interest was expressed during the recent Belgrade forum of business people of both countries, he added.
