
As earlier reported, Azerbaijan`s Premier Artur Rasizade takes part at the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev. In the frame of visit, the Premier met with Almazbek Atambayev.
Rasizade congratulated Almazbek Atambayev on his election as president of Kyrgyzstan, expressing confidence for further successful bilateral relations between the two countries.
Atambayev recalled national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev noting “he was a world-scale politician and great son of the Turkic nations”.
Premier Rasizade and president- elect Atambayev discussed issues of development of bilateral relations.
Atambayev lifted the question of purchase of oil products from Azerbaijan, in particular, consideration of quota for Kyrgyzstan. The talks revolved around trade-economic, investment, expansion of cultural cooperation and other issues. Prime Minister of Azerbaijan also touched upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and gave detailed information on its sequences. Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Arif Agayev was present at the meeting.
