Azerbaijani ruling party says opposition fears debates

Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), MP Siyavush Novruzov has stated today that the opposition's leaders refuse to hold debates with the NAP due to their fear.

No opposition leader responded to the ruling party's call to hold a televised debate, Novruzov told Trend. He added that they fear debates with the NAP.

He once again invited opposition leaders to debates with the NAP, adding that only the opposition party leaders and prominent activists are invited.
