Azerbaijani parliament to hold two meetings this week

Azerbaijani parliament will hold two meetings on October 25 and 28, press service of the parliament said. 18 issues were put on agenda of the two meetings.

On October 25, the parliament will discuss the draft law on “Security of the ex-president of Azerbaijan and his family”.

The draft law on “Protection of the officers of criminal law”, amendments of the laws on “Public prosecution”, “Service in the prosecutor’s office”, “Operations searches”, Status of municipalities”, “Funding municipalities”, “Municipal services”, “Management of municipal lands”, “Administrative control on municipal activity”, “Permanent and other municipal commissions”, “Partial changing of Lankaran’s territorial division”, “Renaming territorial units of Gadabey region”, as well as amendment of the law on psychiatric aid will be on agenda.

The draft laws on social services and protection of genetic resources of cultivated plants will be discussed for the first time. Then the lawmakers will hear report of the national coordinator on combat trafficking in human being.
