Azerbaijan`s President offers condolences to Turkish counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday sent a letter of condolences to his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul.

The Azerbaijani President said in the letter that he was deeply shocked at hearing the news on many human losses and devastations as a result of the earthquake happened in the country`s Van province.

On behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan, President Aliyev extended his deepest condolences to President Gul, families and relatives of the victims and the brotherly people of Turkey over this tragedy, and wished the injured and wounded a rapid recovery.
