Azerbaijani President`s visit to Almaty in spotlight of Kazakh newspapers

Kazakhstan-based newspapers have published articles on Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s official visit to Almaty. The “Kazaxstanskaya pravda” newspaper writes the talks at the meeting of presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan focused on bilateral cooperation in economic, transport, agricultural and other spheres.

The newspaper quotes President Nazarbayev as saying “Azerbaijan is our friendly and fraternal country in the Caucasus region and the main partner of Kazakhstan.” The newspaper also quotes President Aliyev as saying “there are rapid economic development and political stability in our countries. Kazakhstan has made huge progress in all spheres, the country is developing dynamically.”

According to the article published in the “Ekspres-K” newspaper, one of the main directions of cooperation with Azerbaijan is transportation of oil and oil products to the Caucasus, Black Sea regions and Europe through the Caspian Sea.
