Chairman of Azerbaijani Supreme Court meets Indonesian delegation

Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev has met head of the Indonesian Constitutional Court Muhammad Manfud and judge Maria Farida. Rzayev highlighted legal reforms in Azerbaijan.

He said Azerbaijan`s Supreme Court attached a particular importance to relations with foreign counterparts, including Indonesia`s courts. Rzayev said strengthening human rights and freedoms had been among key priorities for the Azerbaijani government.

He expressed confidence Manfud`s visit would contribute to deepening the cooperation between legal authorities of Azerbaijan and Indonesia.

The Indonesian Constitutional Court chairman stressed the necessity of developing the bilateral relations between the two countries` courts.
