Azerbaijan, Ukraine forces exchange ideas

The commander of the Ukrainian Interior Troops, Lieutenant-General, Sergey Yarovoy, is currently visiting Azerbaijan at the invitation of Commander of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry's Interior Troops, Lieutenant General , Zakir Hasanov.

Mr. Yarovoy told journalists the visit is aimed at learning more about the Azerbaijani Interior Troops' activities and identifying further areas of cooperation.

He said: "We have already been working together and both countries have a number of common issues needing to be resolved."

During his visit, Mr.Yarovoy will mainly discuss issues of public order and the exchange of trainees between the two countries in the future. It is also planned to hold joint exercises of the Azerbaijan and Ukraine interior forces.
