President Ilham Aliyev receives Kunio Mikuriya, Secretary General of World Customs Organization and Yury Fedotov, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today has received Kunio Mikuriya, Secretary General of World Customs Organization and Yury Fedotov, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Yury Fedotov, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) noted the importance of the international conference “Fighting illegal drugs turnover” being held in Baku. He stressed significance of the participation of leaders of high-level agencies from 42 countries in the event.

The Head of State described participation of delegates from various countries of the world in the international conference “Fighting illegal drugs turnover” as the “indicator of interest to the conference”.

President Ilham Aliyev said all efforts should be united to further strengthen the fight against illegal drugs turnover.
