Azerbaijan, Belgium discuss development of bilateral relations

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov yesterday met with the Director General of Bilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium Geert Muylle.
The current state of bilateral relations was discussed in the meeting. The Belgian official was informed on Azerbaijan`s energy strategy, regional economic projects as well.

The speakers noted Azerbaijan`s role in European energy security and exchanged views on Azerbaijan-EU relations, cooperation prospects particularly in economic and energy spheres.
Muylle was told of the peace talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and importance of settlement of the conflict within framework of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was underlined.
